Orthodontic conferences in Australia are by and far organised by the Australian society of orthodontists (ASO) or by similar bodies like the Australian Dental association .These organizations decide on a topic and a date for the conference then they call for the papers conference.

The Australian dental Congress organises such conferences the next one being in March 2007,the congress invites all associated with dentistry to participate and present papers. The congress will provide an excellent opportunity for all the orthodontists for networking along with other recreational programmes like tours and sports.

The Australian Orthodontic association also holds regular conferences with discussions and paper presentation on hot topics like the latest in orthodontic braces. The most important part of all conferences is the networking that happens between orthodontists at a national and international level, with exchange of the latest treatment modalities and ethical practices.
